Who we are
IBC Second Life is a referral service. We pass quote requests for buying, selling, reconditioning, moving and recycling IBC totes to partner suppliers in our network. We don’t sell totes or perform services ourselves.
What the form collects
When you send a quote request we collect: your first and last name, email address, phone number, company (if given), street address, city and state or province (if given), ZIP or postal code, the product type, service, quantity, grade and timeframe you choose, your message, and whether you ticked the text-message box. We also record the page you sent the form from, the referring page and any campaign tags in the link you followed, and technical details such as your IP address and browser type, which help prevent spam.
How it is used and who receives it
Your request is sent to the 1DB lead platform, which delivers it to partner suppliers in our network so they can prepare a quote and contact you about it. A partner supplier who receives your request handles your information under its own privacy practices. We don’t sell your information and don’t use it for unrelated marketing.
Text messages
If you tick the text-message box, a partner supplier may text you about this request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Ticking the box is optional and not required to get a quote.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses PostHog analytics, loaded through this site’s own domain, to count visits and see which pages are used. Visitors whose browser time zone is in Europe, or whose browser sends a privacy signal (Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track), are counted without cookies or storage on their device; other visitors may receive a first-party analytics cookie. The form keeps campaign tags in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab. This site sets no advertising cookies.
How long it is kept
Request records are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and then deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, send a request through the contact form and say so in the message field. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law.
